This piece is a lovely monochrome abstract that was made while keeping Ravens in mind. I’ve always loved trickster stories, and Ravens were some of the first I heard as a child. I don’t see them often, but near when my uncle passed, some were circling above my grandmas house, and it felt like they were there as reassurance. Raven gives me a range of emotions, from how my dance group dances raven brings tons of laughter and joy, but also makes me think of things that bring about an air of mystery.
